Committees

 We depend on our amazing Ambassadors/Volunteers to succeed. Chamber Ambassadors are selected for a year and serve at regular functions and events as hospitality ambassadors of the Chamber. They also help with set-up and tear-down of some events and volunteer at many special events. Every special event needs a strong group of volunteers who can help in the office, sell tickets, work the event or help prepare for it. 

 Everyone deserves a voice. This new committee is set up to be sure that all geographical areas of our community are represented. We are asking liaisons from the different segments to be involved with our Chamber. These sections include: Zolfo Springs, Wauchula, Bowling Green, Hardee County, FL seat. 

Education is the Silver Bullet and this committee is focused on that. They work in partnership with the Hardee County schools to help further community involvement in the local schools. This committee may be involved with recruiting volunteers for the schools, helping with fundraisers and increasing awareness about how important education is to the business community.

Having great communication and relationships throughout the county is vital. This is a bipartisan group of business, legal and community leaders committed to enhancing the Chamber’s and Hardee County's reputation as a pro-business area.

The Chamber is a MEMBER based organization – grow the members and we all grow. This committee is focused on retaining and recruiting new members to the Chamber. They also work on the membership directory and other printed materials, such as the Hardee County Tourism Guide. Committee members should be frequent attendees to the networking and monthly functions and help make staff and board aware of new businesses in the community.

Everyone Loves A Party! Throughout the year the Chamber presents or participates in various special events. This committee helps to produce those events by being involved in all stages of the event, planning, organizing, staffing and designing. The Chamber special events include: Golf Tournament, Business of the Year Gala, Hardee County Christmas Parade, Leadership Hardee, Jr. Leadership Hardee, and many more. Not every member has to do every event, sub-committees are established for the year.
