Rylee Tubbs was selected as the Hardee County Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month.
Rylee has consistently maintained an impressive 4.0 GPA, is a leader in her classroom, always has a smile on her face, is extremely polite, and is helpful to her teachers and peers, creating a positive environment around her.
In school, Rylee is actively involved in FFA, where she showed her first swine this year. She also participated on the vegetable judging team, which achieved an impressive 8th place in the state competition. Additionally, she participated in science fair for the first time this year. Not only did she advance to the regional competition, but she will also be competing in the state science fair at the end of March—an outstanding achievement for a 6th grader.
Rylee is also a member of the HJH varsity volleyball team where she is the starting setter. In addition to all of these activities, she runs cross country, participates in swim in the summer, and is an active member of the youth program at First Christian Church.
Rylee exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated student and community member. She is truly a wonderful example to her peers and a pleasure to have at Hardee Junior High.
